EMBALLAGEN – samfundets oversete superhelt

Vi syntes slet ikke emballagen får nok anderkendelse!
Derfor vil vi gerne prikke lidt til dine perspektiver.

Forestil dig en verden uden emballage.

Nej, vent… stop…
Du kom måske lige til at tænke på dengang en overmoden banan, lå direkte i tasken sammen med dine papirer og din PC?

I vores moderne samfund taler vi om klimakrise, digitalisering og kunstig intelligens, men vi overser én af de mest stabile søjler i det hele: emballagen.

Ja, den gode gamle emballage. ”Den tapede beskytter”. Papkassens Gandhi. Den æske, der holder sammen på det hele – både din nye airfryer, din eksport og samfundet.

Vi danskere handler online som aldrig før. Når stormagasiner lukker, og detailhandlen får ondt i webshoppen, hvem står så klar til at bære byrden?

Nemlig – emballagen.

Mens vi diskuterer bæredygtighed over en havredrik i en genbrugskop, står emballagen brat og vogter over dine værdifulde forsendelser.

Nogen skal jo gøre det beskidte arbejde – og så måske endda med FSC-certifikat og god samvittighed.

Har vi så lært noget?

Corona lærte os mange ting: at joggingbukser er acceptable bukser, at Zoom har en muteknap (som nogen burde bruge oftere), og at emballagen er den mest pålidelige kollega i logistikbranchen.

Uden den havde Danmark ikke kunnet klare sig igennem pandemien. Den leverede alt fra toiletpapir og surdejsstartere, til webcams og friske ærter.

 

Er emballage sexet?

Lad os være ærlige. Eksport emballage vinder næppe “Årets Influencer”. Men måske burde den.

Hvor andre flasher deres nybagte boller på Instagram, er emballagen den stille type, der har leveret ingredienserne. Den får ingen likes. Ingen emojis. Kun en hurtig tur i papcontaineren og et “nå, den fylder alligevel en del”.

Men husk: Hvis det ikke var for emballagen havde du ikke haft en forretning og det er ægte heltemod.

Fremtidens eksportemballage er ikke bare træ og plastik.

Vi tænker fremad. Ikke bare “hvordan kan vi sende denne dims sikkert fra A til B”, men “hvordan kan vi gøre det med omtanke, innovation og lidt selvrespekt?”

Vi ved, at eksportemballage ikke redder verden alene. Men uden den… går det hurtigt galt. For hvem har nogensinde tænkt: “Denne køle-følsomme vaccine ville gøre sig bedst i en stofpose”?
