At FARUSA, sustainability is not a choice – it is a commitment. We develop and produce packaging solutions, focusing on minimizing environmental impact throughout the entire product life cycle. We continue to work purposefully to be a better alternative to plywoodboxes & pallet collars… for a more sustainable future for us all.
Our approach to sustainability is based on three principles:
MATERIALS WITH RESPONSIBILITY
We use recycled & certified raw materials as much as possible.
DESIGN WITH A FOCUS ON CIRCULAR ECONOMY
Our packaging has been developed to be reused multiple times & subsequently recycled 100%. We work based on the principles of “reduce, reuse, recycle” without
compromising on lifespan, strength, and functionality.
PRODUCTION COMPANY WITH A LOW FOOTPRINT
We continuously optimize our internal energy consumption, make conscious choices, and continuously reduce waste in production. We do this in the following areas:
Renewable energy agreements at headquarters & our production
Company cars on electricity, which together drive over 200,000 km a year without emitting CO₂
All our customers are offered quantities that fit fixed sheets, meaning minimal production waste.
We believe that strong solutions are created in collaboration with our customers.
