FARUSA achieves FSC® certification!

We are proud to share some exciting news:

We are now FSC® certified!

This is an important step in our sustainability journey – a milestone that means a lot to us, our customers, and not least, the environment.

What is FSC®?
FSC® stands for Forest Stewardship Council. The certification ensures that our raw materials come from responsibly managed forests, where environmental protection, human rights, and economic sustainability go hand in hand.

It is an internationally recognized standard and a guarantee that our products do not contribute to deforestation or unethical working conditions.

With the FSC® certification, we can now document that our materials come from responsible sources and that we actively help preserve the world’s forests. It also means that, as our customer, you can make your choice of export packaging with a clear conscience.

FSC® is more than just a label!

The certification rests on three important pillars:

  • Environment

  • Social responsibility

  • Economic viability

FSC® is built on these three pillars (made of Heavy Duty corrugated cardboard).

The environmental aspect is about preserving vital ecosystems and protecting wildlife. Social responsibility means supporting forestry that respects both the environment and human rights.

Finally, sustainable use of resources requires reinvestment – planting new resources, preventing illegal logging, and protecting forests from large-scale deforestation and land clearing.

What changes?

In fact, the FSC® certification is the culmination of a long process, where we have worked systematically to optimize our supply chain, documentation, and internal procedures.

Now it’s official – from now on you will be able to purchase FSC-labeled packaging in our Heavy Duty series.

And we won’t stop here. FSC® certification is only one step on our journey. We continuously work to reduce our environmental footprint and create more responsible solutions – including the standards we set for our partners, all to the benefit of you as our customer.

We look forward to sharing more initiatives with you on the path to a greener future.
