TRANSPORT BOX 650 FOR ROAD TRANSPORT OF UN 3373
This transport system is currently used between hospitals, laboratories, medical centers and specialist clinics in most Danish regions. The transport boxes can contain up to 132 test tubes. These are placed in washable inserts and together with an absorbent cloth these are placed in a plastic bag that is closed with a clamp. The bag is then placed in the transport box, 650.
The test tubes must be tested and approved to 95 kPa if used alone. Alternatively, the test tubes can be put into a pressure test-approved transport tube.
The transport boxes are available in 2 sizes:
#2001612A: 330 x 245 x 155 mm for 2 pcs. small foam inserts
#2001612B: 395 x 295 x 180 mm for 3 pcs. small foam inserts
Tested and approved for UN 3373 according to both ADR package instruction 650 and ICAO-TI/ IATA/DGR packing instruction 650.
CARTON BOX FOR FOREIGN SHIPMENTS OF UN 3373
These boxes can hold from 1 to 12 transport tubes. The sample tubes are placed together with a small absorbent strip in the obligatory transport tube, which is then packed in the box. This complies with IATA / DGR / ADR package instruction 650.
The carton box has the dimensions: 180 x 100 x 100 mm (external dimensions)
The carton boxes are all marked according to the IATA / DGR / ADR rules, with the diamond in 50 x 50 mm size with the text: UN 3373 inside. Below is the text “BIOLOGICAL SUBSTANCE – Category B”.
ENVELOPES FOR DOMESTIC LETTER POST BY UN 3373
These bubble wrap envelopes can hold from 1 to 8 transport tubes. The sample tubes are placed with a small absorbent strip into the mandatory transport tube, which is then packed into the envelope. This ensures that ADR package instruction 650 is complied with.
The envelopes are available in 2 sizes:
20001625: 220 x 260 mm
2001625L: 180 x 260 mm
The envelopes are all marked according to the ADR rules, w/ the diamond in 50 x 50 mm size with the text: UN 3373 inside. Below is the text “BIOLOGICAL SUBSTANCE – category B”.
The envelopes can also be delivered with your desired recipient address and “Postage payed by recipient”. They can be spruced up a bit with a color indication of your choice – plus of course the mandatory texts according to the ADR rules.
