It hasn’t been all bad, though. In fact, it’s become a bit of a challenge, and even a sport for us. So much so that we invested in developing a study on our “hotspots,” measuring ourselves against the competition.
You might be wondering now -“What on earth is a hotspot?”
In its simplest form, it’s a complete overview of how much or how little we “pollute” within our company, covering everything from purchasing, transport, production, to waste management.
Notice the significant difference we make in the waste category. And why is that? (The green box in the top)
Farusa is the block to the left.
Because all our products and materials can be 100% recycled.
There are no so-called “leftovers,” and that’s what you call a circular economy.
And since we also perform better on all other key metrics, we’re definitely not ashamed of that—in fact, quite the opposite. That’s why we’ve implemented three major initiatives in our daily operations, which are non-negotiable approaches for us.
- Renewable energy agreements at headquarters and production
 - Company cars running on electric power, covering over 200,000 km annually.
 - All our customers are offered quantities that fit fixed sheets, ensuring minimal production waste.

At the bottom of our website, you can find our certificate for renewable energy agreements. You’ll also notice that we drive electric, so if you want a visit from us, just ask. And who knows, maybe one day you’ll receive an offer.
If you want to see and feel our commitment to responsibility in more than these three areas, you can down load our report on farusa.dk.
We believe our products speak for themselves 😊
